Varma Child Development Centre (CDC) has been
established with the initiation from Varma Foundation in order to help the poverty-stricken
family kids who are suffering with mental health problems, developmental issues
in concern with Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Special
Education Services empowering the special Kids.
The foundation’s mission is rooted in ensuring that no child’s mental
health struggles go unnoticed or untreated. By offering accessible,
evidence-based assessments, the organization bridges gaps in care and reduces
stigma, prioritising early intervention to prevent long-term consequences.
In
the medical camp conducted, VARMA FOUNDATION has evaluated 52
kids who are diagnosed with various mental health issues under licensed
psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists entirely free of cost. This
might be charged approx. between 4,000/- to 5,000/- just for the diagnosing.
And VARMA FOUNDATION has filtered 15 kids who are below the Poverty Line and
the planning to provide the treatment for kids free of cost which might cost
around 15,000/- to 20,000/- per month and is entirely free. The Foundation
paves the way for better future and the mental health of the kids.
With
No Profit- No Loss, Varma Child Development Centre (CDC) is planning to extend services
with affordable prices and few slots are available for the special kids with
minor mental disabilities. In the curriculum, our CDC supports the
differently-abled kids through training, therapy, special education and
counselling. We will try to create platform to some extent to live full, active
and meaningful lives.
